The Queen Square Simulation Centre is proud to announce its 3rd annual Advanced Cranial and Advanced Spinal cadaver courses in June/July 2026, to be held at The Griffin Institute, Northwick Park. The courses will have two delegates per cadaver and a high faculty to delegate ratio, giving ample opportunity to learn advanced hands-on skills from eminent faculty from London and beyond.
The cranial course is currently open to senior neurosurgical trainees and fellows. The spinal course is currently open to senior neurosurgical and orthopaedic trainees/post-CCT fellows (deanery and non-deanery) and junior spinal consultants. Both courses are priced at £750 per course or £1,200 for both. There is a 50% discount for London neurosurgical trainees.

Queen Square Advanced Cranial Approaches Course
The advanced cranial approaches course will cover 360-degree cranial approaches including supraorbital, orbitozygomatic, middle fossa, far lateral and supracerebellar approaches to the pineal.
The Royal College of Surgeons of England has awarded up to 11.5 CPD points for the event

Queen Square Advanced Spinal Course - Surgical Anatomy and Approaches
The advanced complex spinal cadaver course will cover C1/2 instrumentation, transoral approach, anterior/posterior cervical spine instrumentation including corpectomy/uncinectomy, anterolateral approaches to thoracolumbar spine (thoraco-abdominal approach/thoracotomy/XLIF/ALIF) and advanced posterior approaches (costotransversectomy/PSO/ osteotomy/VCR/pelvis screws).
The Royal College of Surgeons of England has awarded up to 13 CPD points
