Queen Square Neurosurgery Consultant Interview Masterclass

We are delighted to invite you to the Neurosurgery Consultant Interview Masterclass, a full-day course designed to help neurosurgeons prepare for consultant interviews with confidence. The course combines insights into the appointment process with practical opportunities to develop and refine your interview skills.

The morning programme will explore what interview panels look for, with perspectives from a Clinical Director, General Manager and Advisory Appointments Committee (AAC) / Royal College assessor. Sessions will address interview performance under pressure and lessons learned by newly appointed consultants, followed by a lunchtime CV and portfolio clinic.

The afternoon will focus on interview and presentation practice in small groups, with two mini-interviews and presentation practice for each candidate. With places limited to 20 participants, the course provides a focused setting to practise your responses, learn from faculty feedback and leave with clear actions for your preparation.
